Can peer-tutored psychological flexibility training facilitate physical activity among adults with overweight?

An increase in psychological flexibility has been found to be associated with health behavior changes. Peer-led interventions have advantageous improving physical activity among individuals at risk. This study aimed discover whether an ACT-based peer-tutored online intervention can self-reported participation and adults overweight. The was a non-randomized longitudinal study. participants (N = 177) were primary care clients They participated 24-month program provided by services, including three modules of ACT six week each, tutoring trained peers via five group meetings four phone calls.
